In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting John Paul II Catholic Saints soccer squad scored a close 6-0 win over the Bear Grass Charter Bears.
The Saints (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC). The Centurions go into the NCISAA Coastal Plain battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Coastal Christian nipped Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Bears (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Generals go into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Wayne Preparatory Academy was overwhelmed by Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
