The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) and the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), saw Shelby's soccer squad beat Cherryville by a margin of 4-0.

The Golden Lions now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Gaston for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 19.

With the loss, Cherryville drops to 0-4 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Chase (Forest City, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, March 14. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-2. Chase lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Burns (Lawndale, NC)
