In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting South Rowan Raiders soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the East Rowan Mustangs.

The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders come into the South Piedmont 3A match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Concord was overwhelmed by West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 5-1, in a league match.

With the loss, East Rowan drops to 1-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 13. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-1. Mount Pleasant lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)
