St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fullerton Indians (Fullerton, CA), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Swordsmen now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host El Dorado for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15.
With the loss, Fullerton falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA) to face the Lancers in a challenge on Monday, March 25. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
