Georgia High School Soccer - Apalachee held off by Habersham Central

The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA) and the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), saw Habersham Central's soccer squad get by Apalachee by a count of 1-0.
The Raiders now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shiloh for a 6A Area 8 test on Thursday, March 14. Habersham Central will meet a Generals squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Generals record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Apalachee drops to 3-9 on the season. The Wildcats host Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to meet the Longhorns in a 6A Area 8 test on Friday, March 15. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 3-6. Lanier lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Berkmar (Lilburn, GA)
