Asotin Panthers (Asotin, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pomeroy Pirates (Pomeroy, WA), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Davenport for a 2B Bi-County challenge on Friday, March 22.

With the loss, Pomeroy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Colton (Colton, WA) to battle the Wildcats in a 1B Southeast - East challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
