The Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL) softball the host Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL), 6-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Hatton held off Lexington (Lexington, AL), 12-5, in a league bout.
The Hornets now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Elmore County for a 5A Area 5 bout on Thursday, March 14. Beauregard will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Valley (Valley, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
