North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery Central for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13. North Moore will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 19-9 non-league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Bartlett Yancey falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Bethany (Summerfield, NC) to face the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Bethany won 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)
