Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Roosevelt for a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Saturday, March 16.

With the loss, Idalou falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Liberty (Lubbock, TX) to battle the Patriots in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 8-13.
