The Gilbert Indians softball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Gilbert improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC) to clash with the Predators in a non-league game on Thursday, March 14. The Predators come into the game with a record of 2-2.

In their next game, the Diamond Hornets clash with the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a AAA Region 5 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Lower Richland will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
