Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Sharks now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus for a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, March 15. Palacios will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 6-4 league win over Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Industrial falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Cobras host Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX) to face the Raiders in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, March 22. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-14.
