In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Jay Royals softball team scored a close 5-3 win over the West Florida Jaguars.

Coming up next, the Royals battle the Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL) in a 1A District 1 outing, on Thursday, March 14. Jay will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bobcats enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Ponce De Leon (Ponce De Leon, FL).

The Jaguars (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Escambia (Pensacola, FL). The Gators enter the non-league outing with a 3-3 record.
