With the triumph, Kings Mountain improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to clash with the Storm in a Big South 3A game on Thursday, March 14. The Storm come into the game with a record of 0-2. Stuart W. Cramer lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Crest (Shelby, NC)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 13. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 9-0 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC).
