The Blue Devils now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Duplin for a East Central 2A match on Friday, March 15. South Lenoir will face a Panthers squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Kinston moves to 0-3 on the season. The Vikings host Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to face the Bruins in a non-league match on Thursday, March 14. The Bruins go into the match with a record of 0-1.
