In Tuesday's league contest, the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX), by a margin of 19-2.

With the triumph, Longview moves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Lobos travel to Texas (Texarkana, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 15 contest on Wednesday, March 13. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 13-7. Texas lost 9-1 in their recent league contest against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)
