The Natchitoches Central Chiefs softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Parkway Panthers to 8 in the Chiefs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Natchitoches Central moves its record to 9-9 on the year. The Chiefs host Haughton (Haughton, LA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a 5A District 1 game on Thursday, March 14. The Buccaneers come into the game with a record of 10-8. Haughton won 24-2 in their recent league game against Southwood (Shreveport, LA)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) in a 5A District 1 game, on Thursday, March 14. Parkway will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 9-5 record after their 4-1 league win over Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
