Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC), 19-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davie for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 14. Northwest Guilford will battle a War Eagles squad coming off a 18-1 league win over Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Page falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to battle the Hornets in a Metro 4A challenge on Friday, March 15. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Western Guilford lost 23-8 in their recent league challenge against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC)
