Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), 7-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Savior Menard for a 2A District 4 challenge on Thursday, March 14. Rosepine will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Pickering falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to Oakdale (Oakdale, LA) to face the Warriors in a 2A District 4 challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Oakdale won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Glenmora (Glenmora, LA)
