The Freedom Patriots baseball squad (Morganton, NC), 7-4 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC)
With the triumph, Chase moves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Trojans host Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to confront the Bearcats in a Mountain Foothills 7 1A/2A contest on Friday, March 14. The Bearcats come into the contest with a record of 3-4. Hendersonville lost 16-5 in their recent non-league contest against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)
The Patriots now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibriten for a Northwestern 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, March 18. Freedom will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
