The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Helena Huskies to 1 in the Huskies non-league win on Wednesday.
The Huskies now hold a 15-0 record. They take the field next when they host Springville for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Hewitt-Trussville will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Leeds (Leeds, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-1.
With the defeat, Helena drops to 7-7 on the year. The Huskies travel to Hueytown (Hueytown, AL) to play the Golden Gophers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. The Golden Gophers go into the test with a record of 10-6. Hueytown won 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL)
