The Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) baseball trounced the host Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), 12-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Monarchs now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Albuquerque for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. Manzano will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
With the defeat, Highland drops to 2-5 on the year. The Hornets host Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Albuquerque Academy lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM)
