The Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) baseball trounced the host Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Burke County for a AA Region 4 challenge on Friday, March 14. Thomson will clash with a Bears team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Bears record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, Lincoln County drops to 9-3 on the year. The Red devils host Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA) to clash with the Titans in a A D2 Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Lake Oconee Academy lost 10-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Social Circle (Social Circle, GA)
