The Owyhee Storm baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Middleton Vikings to 7 in the Storm non-league win on Wednesday.

The Storm now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Owyhee will clash with a Mavericks team coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Middleton drops to 0-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 0-2. Rocky Mountain lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Kuna (Kuna, ID)
