The Rome Wolves baseball squad (Rome, GA), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Wednesday's league contest with the host South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA)
With the triumph, South Paulding moves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Spartans host New Manchester (Douglasville, GA) to confront the Jaguar in a AAAAA Region 5 contest on Friday, March 14. The Jaguar come into the contest with a record of 4-7. New Manchester lost 15-0 in their recent league contest against Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA)
The Wolves now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennesaw Mountain for a AAAAA Region 5 contest on Friday, March 14. Rome will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-4 league win over Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-3.
