North Carolina High School Baseball - South Columbus edges West Bladen

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host South Columbus Stallions baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the West Bladen Knights.
The Stallions (4-2) will now prepare for their game against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, East Bladen by South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 19-2, in a league game.
Next, the Knights play the Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 14. West Bladen will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC).
