In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Sylmar Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Kennedy Cougars.

The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Regents enter the challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Reseda beat Panorama (Panorama City, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Panorama Pythons (Panorama City, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, March 17. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pythons enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA).
