The Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) basketball edged the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN), 60-53 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Lakers now possess a 28-3 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, March 14. Minnewaska Area will play a Lions team coming off a 84-50 non-league win over New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Lions record now stands at 30-0.
