The Battle Mountain Huskies lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the host Steamboat Springs Sailors to 11 in the Huskies league triumph on Wednesday.

The Huskies now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eagle Valley for a 4A Mountain East challenge on Friday, March 14. Battle Mountain will clash with a Devils squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Summit (Frisco, CO). The Devils record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Steamboat Springs falls to 1-1 on the year. The Sailors travel to Aspen (Aspen, CO) to clash with the Skiers in a 4A Mountain East challenge on Saturday, March 15. The Skiers go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Aspen won 23-3 in their recent league challenge against Summit (Frisco, CO)
