Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Carrboro moves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Jaguars host South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A test on Monday, March 17. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-5. South Granville lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Vance County (Henderson, NC)
The Vikings now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Richmond for a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Friday, March 14. Union Pines will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 2-4.
