Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) and the host Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC), saw Community School of Davidson's soccer squad hold off Lincoln Charter by a count of 3-2.

The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, SouthLake Christian Academy tipped Bandys (Catawba, NC), 4-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 14. Lincoln Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC).
