The First Baptist School Hurricanes held off the host Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Northwood Academy Chargers (Charleston, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region II game, on Friday, March 14. First Baptist School will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 10-0 league loss to John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC).
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Carmel Christian was nipped by Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 9-0, in a non-league game.
