North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, North Lenoir moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a East Central 2A test on Friday, March 14. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 4-1. Southwest Onslow won 1-0 in their recent league test against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)

The Trojans now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Carteret for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Jones will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to DASH (Zebulon, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.
