Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) and the host Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC), saw Knightdale's soccer squad hold off Southeast Raleigh by a score of 2-1.

The Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Cougars enter the Northern Athletic 4A battle with a 6-1 record.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A battle, on Monday, March 17. Southeast Raleigh will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Jordan (Durham, NC).
