With the triumph, Madison moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC) to clash with the Dragons in a Western Highlands 1A/2A test on Monday, March 17. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 4-1. NCSSM: Morganton 3-3 in their recent league test against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC)

The Black Hawks now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tuscola for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. North Buncombe will clash with a Mountaineers team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-3.
