Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) and the visiting Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC), saw Northwood's soccer squad hold off Southeast Alamance by a count of 1-0.

The Chargers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Eastern Alamance tipped Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Stallions battle the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A battle, on Friday, March 14. Southeast Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Jets enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).
