In Wednesday's non-league bout, the North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), by a tally of 11-0.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 18. North Wilkes will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Blackhawks enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 9-7 non-league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC).
The Cardinals (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Elkin achieved victory over North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 12-2, in a non-league bout.
