The Rockingham County Cougars baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Reidsville Rams to 0 in the Cougars non-league win on Wednesday.

The Cougars now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reagan for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Rockingham County will play a Raiders team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Reidsville drops to 0-5 on the year. The Rams host McMichael (Mayodan, NC) to play the Phoenix in a test on Tuesday, March 18. The Phoenix go into the test with a record of 1-1. McMichael won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)
