In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Charlotte Latin Hawks lacrosse team scored a close 13-12 win over the Ardrey Kell Knights.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 14. Charlotte Latin will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Mavericks enter the test with a 2-2 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Hough (Cornelius, NC).
The Knights (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Charlotte Catholic was tipped by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 16-3, in a non-league test.
