North Carolina High School Softball - Ambassador Christian School drops to Piedmont Community Charter

March 12, 2025: Gastonia, NC 28052

Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Ambassador Christian School Lions (Huntersville, NC), 20-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Piedmont Community Charter improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Metro Eight 1A game on Thursday, March 13. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-2. Sugar Creek Charter lost 23-0 in their recent non-league test against Union Preparatory (Indian Trail, NC)

The Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Covenant Day (Matthews, NC). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record.
