North Carolina High School Softball - Monroe knocked off by Anson

March 12, 2025: Wadesboro, NC 28170

The Anson Bearcats overwhelmed the visiting Monroe Redhawks softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge, on Thursday, March 13. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Colts go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 15-0 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).

The Redhawks (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars go into the Rocky River 2A/3A challenge with a 3-3 record.
