North Carolina High School Softball - Lincolnton bounces Shelby

March 12, 2025: Shelby, NC 28152

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Lincolnton Wolves softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Shelby Golden Lions.

The Wolves (3-3) will now prepare for their match against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, South Point was routed by Crest (Shelby, NC), 8-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Golden Lions confront the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A match, on Friday, March 14. Shelby will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Ironmen come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
