The Maryknoll Spartans softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Mid-Pacific Institute Owls to 8 in the Spartans league win on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Punahou for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. Maryknoll will confront a Buff n' Blue team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over 'Iolani (Honolulu, HI). The Buff n' Blue record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Mid-Pacific Institute moves to 0-3 on the season. The Owls host Kamehameha Kapalama (Honolulu, HI) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 1-1. Kamehameha Kapalama won 7-3 in their recent non-league battle against 'Iolani (Honolulu, HI)
