The Maumelle Hornets triumphed over the host Mount St. Mary Academy Belles softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the White Hall Bulldogs (White Hall, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 13. Maumelle will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Star City (Star City, AR).
The Belles (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Cobras enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.
