With the triumph, North Duplin upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 19. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 2-3.

The Blue Devils now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host East Duplin for a East Central 2A game on Friday, March 14. South Lenoir will play a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
