The Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) baseball trounced the host Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), 11-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Blue Tide now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty County for a AAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, March 17. Long County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Jenkins (Savannah, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-2.
