The St. James Sharks lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the host Waccamaw Warriors to 3 in the Sharks non-league victory on Thursday.

Next up, the Sharks confront the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) in a 5A District 5 challenge, on Monday, March 16. St. James will attempt to upgrade on its 7-0 season record. The Chiefs go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 17-4 league win over Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC).

With the loss, Waccamaw falls to 1-6 on the year. The Warriors host Eastside (Taylors, SC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, March 16. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-3. Eastside lost 11-10 in their recent league match against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC)
