The Lamar County Bulldogs the host Sulligent Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 5-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 13. Lamar County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Cordova (Cordova, AL).
