The Lanett Panthers baseball team (Lanett, AL), was overwhelmed 17-0 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL)
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleburne County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 14. Ranburne will confront a Tigers team coming off a 10-8 non-league win over Woodland (Woodland, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-1.
Next, the Panthers confront the Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) in a 2A Area 7 outing, on Tuesday, March 14. Lanett will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Generals go into the outing with a 7-3 record after their 12-7 non-league win over Comer (Sylacauga, AL).
