With the win, Hawthorne upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Cougars host Centennial (Compton, CA) to play the Apaches in a Ocean bout on Tuesday, March 14. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Centennial lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Inglewood (Inglewood, CA)

The Cardinals now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to North for a Pioneer bout on Wednesday, March 15. Lawndale will play a Saxons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Bellflower (Bellflower, CA). The Saxons record now stands at 9-6.
