California High School Baseball - Pacifica sneaks past El Modena

Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) and the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), saw Pacifica's baseball squad edge El Modena by a margin of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Mariners play the Huntington Beach Oilers (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 14. Pacifica will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record.

The Vanguards now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Diamond Bar for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 18. El Modena will play a Brahmas squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Troy (Fullerton, CA). The Brahmas record now stands at 4-3.
